Sheriff Vincent Ford has seen Yucca Gulch grow from a simple bar at a nondescript crossroads into a diverse town threatening to become a small city, along with the problems that come with that. Still, most of his time is an unchanging cycle of keeping enough order to get everyone to tomorrow. This predictable routine is suddenly upset when a picnic at the edge of town turns deadly.
