‍For years, people told me I had a great voice — the kind that made them turn their heads and say, “Wait, who was that?” Some even dropped by my workplace after talking to me over the phone, just to “put a face to the voice.” Eventually, I decided to see what all the fuss was about, and I discovered a passion that’s become my career.

‍I’m C.L. Berns, a professional voice actor and narrator trained by Voice Coaches, with a sound that’s been described as calming and welcoming, yet direct and authoritative — like that TV dad everyone wished they had growing up: full of warmth, wisdom, and a few funny stories by the campfire.

‍Over the past three years, I’ve narrated 16 audiobooks and voiced several corporate projects, bringing each script to life with care and authenticity. My training and versatility allow me to adapt to a wide range of voice work — from commercials and e-learning to video games and animation — giving every project a natural, believable performance. Whether I’m defining a brand’s tone or adding emotional depth to a story, I approach each script with creativity, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm.

‍When I’m not behind the mic, you’ll probably find me building something around the house, camping, mountain biking, or watching a good movie — always curious, always creating, and always finding stories worth telling.
